PLASTOLFAST Photopolymer emulsion PLASTOLFAST Photopolymer emulsion is a one-part high-solid textile emulsion recommended for plastisol inks. plastolfast offers durability and an excellent image. Due to its high solids, it yields a smooth, even coat, sharp edges, and reasonable resolution. As Plastolfast is based on SBQ technology, it does not require diazo & should only be handled in yellow light.
Plastofast Photopolymer emulsion saves time as it cures quickly and is easily reclaimed. Exposure: The distance for the exposure should be about one and a half times the diagonal measurement of the artwork from point light sources. Yellow & orange mesh requires at least 50% more time than white mesh. The times below are based on a white mesh of approximately 40 inches. Metal halide: 25 seconds 3000 watts carbon arc 20 seconds 60 amps fluor. Tubes 45-60 seconds 240 Watt Specification Data:
- color: red
- Viscosity: 11,000-12,000 cps at 20 rpm.
- Solids: 48% + -1%
