SMP Reclaiming Crystals Emulsion film or stencil Remover - - Sodium Metaperiodate (We call them SMP Crystals) (emulsion or stencil remover) (stripper) come in a 1- lb bottle which can make 40 gallons. So in order to make a five-gallon pail, 60 grams are required- You may add up to 100 grams to make a stronger solution. Use warm water for mixing. Sodium Metaperiodate is a very strong oxidizing agent that breaks the
-OH- bond in the emulsion film on the screen. Our reclaimers have some surfactants added so that they may penetrate into the emulsion film faster and also degrease the screen.

It is hard to find powdered reclaimer, and we have plenty of water, so don't want to ship reclaimer concentrates, if we don't have to. The supplier we used to order from was bought out by another company, and stopped carrying them. We found them here, and only after the product arrived the next day did we realize we were actually ordering from Xenon here in NYC.
