Squeegee Durometer, Shore Hardness, and Shapes: The durometer of a rubber squeegee refers to its hardness. A higher durometer, such as 90, is typically used in the graphic industry, particularly for bottle printing. Textile printers commonly opt for a 70 durometer, although some may prefer 60 or 80 Duro. Lower durometer squeegees allow for greater ink application onto fabric. If you require more ink for better coverage or are printing puff or gel effects, you may prefer 50 or 60-durometer squeegees.

Squeegees come in various shapes, including straight edge, round (bull nose), or double bevel (beveled edge with different angles). Bevel squeegees are commonly used by bottle printers or for hard surface printing. There are also textile printers who utilize beveled edges for fine textile printing.
