Durometer - Shore Hardness and Shapes: Durometer refers to the measurement of rubber squeegee hardness. For the graphic industry, a higher durometer of 90 is commonly used, especially by bottle printers. Textile printers typically prefer a durometer of 70, although some may opt for 60 or 80. Lower durometer squeegees allow for more ink to be pushed onto the fabric, making them ideal for applications requiring greater ink coverage, such as printing puff or gel. If you prefer more ink for better coverage or have specific printing requirements, you may choose a durometer of 50 or 60. Our printing squeegees are available in various shapes, including straight edge, round (bullnose), and double bevel (beveled edge, which comes in different angles). Bottle printers or those involved in hard surface printing often use bevel squeegees. Additionally, some textile printers utilize bevel edges for fine textile printing.
